Population administration and civil registration in West Bangka play a crucial role in managing population data and providing administrative services to the public. This study evaluates the potential for utilizing artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these services, while also identifying challenges that may arise during implementation. This research aims to analyze the potential use of artificial intelligence in population administration and civil registration in West Bangka Regency, particularly in efforts to support efficient data management, identity verification processes, and the enhancement of transparency and accountability in public services. The methods used include a qualitative approach and a systematic literature review. Data collection was conducted through various academic sources, scientific journals, and other reliable sources, followed by a comprehensive analysis to identify patterns and differences in the existing literature. The results indicate that artificial intelligence holds great potential for accelerating administrative processes, optimizing resource utilization, and improving the quality of public services. The implementation of artificial intelligence can also enhance transparency and accountability in data management through activity logging and more structured data presentation. This study concludes that while the adoption of artificial intelligence in population administration and civil registration in West Bangka has the potential to bring about significant improvements in efficiency and service delivery, thorough preparation is needed in terms of infrastructure, education, and regulations
