The transformation of the digital economy has had a significant impact on trade patterns and wealth ownership in the modern era. The presence of e-commerce as an internet-based trading system makes it easier for people to transact goods and services more easily, quickly, and effectively. On the other hand, technological advances have also given rise to various types of digital assets that are increasingly developing in society. According to Islamic law, e-commerce practices are essentially justified because they fall within the scope of muamalah, which are permitted as long as they do not violate sharia provisions. The validity of e-commerce transactions is determined by fulfilling the pillars and conditions of buying and selling and are carried out by prioritizing the values of honesty, transparency, and justice. Digital assets can be recognized as a form of contemporary wealth if they have real use value and benefits. However, their use must be kept away from elements of usury, gharar, maisir, fraud, and activities that conflict with the principles of Islamic law.
