ABSTRACT This research was conducted to find out the guidelines on the venue for the event per the Regulation of the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2017 and implement it as a guideline in the selection of the venue for the event as well as from the needs of the event as the main factor. It is known that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the event industry experienced a very large impact, especially the venue industry. As the epidemic progressed, the event industry began to adapt and slowly reopened event activities, especially the MICE business. Due to this, the MICE Center held a focus group discussion “Reopening MICE Tourism Bali” to see Bali's readiness to reopen the MICE tourism business by inviting Bali MICE stakeholders. The holding of the event requires a venue that is following the needs of the event and also conforms to the CHSE protocol. The selection of the venue for the event was seen from event needs as well as the CHSE protocol. Finally, the chosen venue was the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center that has already CHSE certified and is located in a complex with tight security. While selecting the venue was done quick and easy, there’s a little doubt because of the event was held in the different city so 3D tour will make it easier to imagine the shape of the venue. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pedoman tentang tempat penyelenggaraan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pariwisata Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun 2017 dan mengimplementasikannya sebagai pedoman dalam pemilihan tempat penyelenggaraan acara serta dari kebutuhan acara sebagai faktor utama. Diketahui selama pandemi COVID-19, industri acara mengalami dampak sangat besar terutama industri tempat penyelenggaraan acara, tidak ada acara maka tidak ada kegiatan di dalam tempat penyelenggaraan acara. Seiring berjalannya pandemi, industri acara pun mulai beradaptasi dan perlahan membuka kembali kegiatan acara terutama bisnis MICE. Dikarenakan hal tersebut, MICE Center membuat diskusi kelompok terfokus “Reopening MICE Tourism Bali” untuk melihat kesiapan Bali dalam dibukanya kembali bisnis wisata MICE dengan mengundang stakeholder- stakeholder MICE Bali. Diadakannya acara tersebut dibutuhkan tempat penyelenggaraan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan acara dan juga menyesuaikan dengan protokol CHSE. Pemilihan tempat penyelenggaraan acara dilihat dari kebutuhan acara dan protokol CHSE yang akhirnya didapatkan tempat yang terpilih yaitu Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center yang sudah tersertifikasi CHSE dan berada di dalam komplek dengan keamanan yang ketat. Selama pencarian tempat berlangsung dengan cepat dan mudah tetapi ada sedikit keraguan dikarenakan beda kota sehingga adanya 3D tour akan mempermudah dalam membayangkan bentuk tempat pelaksanaan.
