This study aims to examine the influence of work life balance on job satisfaction with job burnout as an intervening variable at PT XYZ, a construction company located in Jakarta. The research was conducted at PT XYZ, which has 53 employees based in Jakarta. The sample for this study consisted of 23 employees selected using purposive sampling, focusing on Millennials and Generation Z. This study utilized a quantitative approach with a survey method, where questionnaires were distributed to respondents. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 26 software, with various statistical tests such as validity, reliability, and path analysis to test the hypotheses. The findings indicate that work life balance has a significant impact on job satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through job burnout as an intervening variable. Employees who maintain a good balance between work and personal life tend to have higher job satisfaction and lower levels of job burnout. Conversely, job burnout was found to have a significant negative impact on job satisfaction. These findings provide insights for the company to develop more effective work life balance programs aimed at enhancing employee well-being and productivity while reducing burnout levels. Consequently, the company can create a healthier and more productive work environment, ultimately leading to improved overall organizational performance.
