<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the potential and strategy for developing a community-based tourism village in the Asap Indah Tourism Village. Data was obtained from observation, interviews and literature study. SWOT analysis is applied to determine the weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and challenges of developing the Wonosari tourist village so that it can be used to determine the right strategy for developing a community-based tourist village in Wonosari Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency. In this research, the process of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing were carried out simultaneously. From the research results, it can be concluded that the Asap Indah tourist village has high potential to be developed into a community-based tourism village, including fish smoking, water apple agrotourism, restaurants and Bule fishing. Based on the SWOT analysis, there are several strategies that can be improved for the development of the Asap Indah tourist village, including strategies for developing tourist attractions, including creating integrated tour packages and implementing special events; forming a tourism manager; improving promotional strategies, improving facilities and infrastructure; increasing tourism human resources; and increasing cooperation with stakeholders and investors. This potential, if developed by involving and empowering local communities, can increase the value and benefits for local communities in terms of economic, socio-cultural, religious and environmental aspects.]]>
