This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of video-based media in enhancing toothbrushing skills among students with intellectual disabilities. A Single Subject Research (SSR) approach with an A-B-A design (Baseline-1, Intervention, Baseline-2) was employed across 15 sessions (five A1 sessions, six B sessions, and four A2 sessions). The subject was a fourth-grade student at SLB Negeri 1 Kaur Bengkulu, selected via a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using an observation checklist based on a 15-step toothbrushing task analysis. Data were analyzed using within-condition visual analysis, between-condition visual analysis, and overlap percentage calculations. The results demonstrated a significant increase in the subject's mean accuracy performance, rising from 45.4% in the initial baseline phase (A1) to 78.5% during the intervention phase (B). In the second baseline phase (A2), the mean score was maintained at 51.3%, indicating skill retention after the intervention was withdrawn. Furthermore, an overlap percentage of 0% confirms a strong functional relationship between the video intervention and the improvement in toothbrushing skills. Future research should include long-term follow-up and explore other funcional skills.
