Pilgrim tourism is a unique market segment because it caters to consumers with varying levels of religiosity and spirituality. This study aims to investigate the impact of electronic word of mouth (eWOM), destination image, and destination attributes on interest in visiting pilgrimage tourism destinations. This quantitative study analyzed primary data from 310 respondents, who were spread across the islands of Java and Bali due to their similar characteristics, rooted in the exact cultural origins. Respondent data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that all independent variables, comprising eWOM, destination image, and destination attributes, have a significant positive effect on interest in visiting, particularly in mystical and pilgrimage destinations. There needs to be synergistic integration among these indicators, as pilgrimage tourism has a distinct context in which the segment consists of tourists with specific interests. Managers need to create a unique destination image that is both distinctive and inviting, while also enhancing tourism attributes such as supporting accommodations, which should be promoted through relevant media, particularly social media.
