Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains one of the public health issues in Indonesia. The presence of Aedes sp. larvae is an indicator of the risk of DHF transmission, which is influenced by various factors, such as the 3M Plus mosquito control behavior, container characteristics, and the physical environment of the home. This study aims to determine the relationship between the 3M Plus mosquito control practices, container characteristics, and the physical environment of homes with the presence of Aedes sp. larvae. This study employs a quantitative analytical design using a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all households within the jurisdiction of the Meulaboh Class I Port Health Quarantine Office, totaling 124 buildings, with a sample of 60 households selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted through interviews and observations using a questionnaire. The results showed a significant association between knowledge and implementation of the 3M Plus program and the presence of larvae (p ≤ 0.05), as well as between the condition and color of containers and the presence of larvae (p ≤ 0.05). Meanwhile, attitudes, container type and location, and physical environmental factors of the home did not show a significant relationship (p > 0.05). It was concluded that knowledge of the 3M Plus vector control program, implementation of the 3M Plus vector control program, and the condition and color of containers are factors associated with the presence of Aedes sp. larvae.
