This study examines the strengthening of aspects of Human Resources, Community, and Industry (SMI) as one of the development strategies in Alamendah Tourism Village. The existence of tourist villages is able to encourage economic growth through tourism activities based on local potential, so an appropriate strategy is needed to support the sustainability of its development. This study aims to describe various activities carried out in the context of strengthening human, community, and industrial resources (SMI) with a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with several informants, direct observations in the field, and documentation studies of secondary data. The results of the study show that the development of Alamendah Tourism Village does not only focus on tourist attractions, but is also realized through increasing the capacity of tourism actors, strengthening community participation, and developing the local tourism industry, which is not only carried out internally, but through collaboration with stakeholders. These findings show that SMI-based strategies play an important role in supporting the sustainable development of tourism villages and strengthening the independence of local communities in managing tourism potential.
