Digital transformation has changed how e-commerce companies communicate with consumers, create brand value, and maintain long-term relationships. This study examines the role of digital marketing transformation in building brand awareness and customer loyalty within the competitive e-commerce landscape. A qualitative library research approach was employed by reviewing peer-reviewed literature obtained from reputable academic databases, particularly studies addressing digital marketing, social media marketing, customer engagement, brand awareness, trust, and loyalty. The literature was analyzed through thematic content analysis involving identification, reduction, coding, classification, interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings demonstrate that digital marketing transformation is not limited to adopting online promotional tools but involves integrating customer data, content quality, personalization, interactivity, automation, and multiple digital channels. Relevant and consistent content improves brand recognition and recall, while personalized communication and responsive interactions strengthen customer engagement and trust. Brand awareness functions as an important mediating mechanism that connects digital marketing activities with customer loyalty. Nevertheless, awareness alone does not automatically create loyalty unless it is supported by customer satisfaction, transaction security, service quality, and a consistent digital experience. The study proposes an integrated framework in which digital marketing transformation enhances brand awareness, engagement, and trust, which subsequently encourage repeat purchases, positive recommendations, and resistance to competing offers. Theoretically, this research clarifies the relationship between technological marketing capabilities, brand outcomes, and relational outcomes. Practically, e-commerce companies should evaluate digital marketing performance using long-term indicators, including brand recall, customer retention, repeat purchases, and advocacy, rather than relying exclusively on impressions, clicks, followers, and short-term online engagement.
