This study aims to analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the novel Cuko by Ariestanabirah and to utilize the results of the analysis in the preparation of a teaching module for the Indonesian Language subject. The research method employed was descriptive qualitative with content analysis. The results of the study indicate that the intrinsic elements of the novel Cuko encompass the theme of the struggle for independence, a mixed plot, dynamic characterizations, a social setting of an orphanage, a limited third-person point of view, the use of various figures of speech, and a moral message about self-reliance. The extrinsic elements cover the social, cultural, economic, and psychological backgrounds that form the context of the story. The results of the analysis were then used as the basis for preparing a teaching module for the Indonesian Language subject for Phase F of the Merdeka Curriculum. The prepared teaching module was validated by experts and declared suitable for use as an alternative teaching material in literature education in senior high schools.
