This study aims to analyze educational rhetoric based on the ethos pillar in the "Jadi Ngapain Sekolah" (So, What’s the Point of School?) episode of Deddy Corbuzier’s YouTube podcast. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed. Data were gathered through observation—specifically by repeatedly listening to the podcast—and by transcribing the entire conversation to facilitate data identification. Subsequently, the data were reduced, selected according to the research focus, and analyzed using Aristotle’s rhetorical theory, particularly the ethos pillar. To reinforce the analysis, the researcher conducted interviews with an Indonesian language teacher serving as an informant. Data validity was tested using source triangulation by comparing findings from observations, interviews, and literature reviews. The results reveal six forms of educational rhetoric incorporating ethos: invoking authority to explain the influence of authoritative figures; explaining the purpose of the education system; discussing the concept of social roles; critiquing teacher certification policies; emphasizing the school's function as a space for developing social skills; and using personal experiences to establish speaker credibility. These findings demonstrate that ethos is constructed through a balance of knowledge, experience, illustrations, and attitude, thereby enhancing audience trust in the message conveyed
