The open unemployment rate among vocational school graduates indicates a gap between graduates' competencies and the demands of the job market. This study aims to evaluate the strategy of utilizing school assets to improve graduates' competencies at SMK Negeri 2 Ciamis. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the asset utilization strategies at SMK Negeri 2 Ciamis include physical asset management, information technology integration, partnerships with the industrial world, and teacher capacity development. Challenges identified include budget constraints, teacher competence, and low involvement of external stakeholders. The school responded to these challenges through teacher training, parent involvement, and the development of a school-based management system and total quality management. In conclusion, strategic asset utilization plays a crucial role in enhancing graduate competencies. It is recommended that schools continue to conduct data-driven evaluations and build multi-stakeholder collaborations to ensure the sustainability of this strategy.
