Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) instruction often favors motor execution over cognitive comprehension, which heightens injury risks and diminishes sports appreciation; to address this gap, this study evaluated and mapped 25 proportionally sampled final-year students' conceptual understanding of track events at SMA Al Falah Abu Lam U using a quantitative descriptive survey design. Utilizing a Google Forms true-false instrument covering core concepts, techniques, regulations, and physiological benefits, descriptive statistical analysis revealed a strong overall mean knowledge score of 82.6%, with 28% performing at a "very good" level, 44% at "good," 28% at "moderate," and none in lower tiers. While these empirical results affirm that current practices successfully cultivate an essential cognitive foundation, subtle performance variations highlight the need for differentiated instruction and multimodal strategies such as visual media and technical demonstrations to resolve minor conceptual gaps and foster equitable academic growth.
