Business legality is one of the business owner responsibilities that is regulated in Government Regulation number 7, 2021. Because of it, business legality is an important thing for UMKM, especially to give legal protection, opening bank access for financing and to increase consumer trust. One of business legality is the document called Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB). NIB issued as an official identity for business owner as a sign that their businesses are registered officially. NIB issued by Online Submission System (OSS). It is an official system that serves business clearance with an electronic integrated system. The method that was used in this article to educate the importance of business legality for the business owner involved an institutional field in Ngemplakrejo, Panggungrejo, Pasuruan city. After the interview the business owner was agreed for 5 UMKM that will be assisted to make NIB. After the NIB was issued and printed out, the business owner is suggested to continue to make the legality document to another legal document, such as Halal certificate, PIRT, and etc.
