<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the impact of online games on the moral changes of students at Cahaya Islam Papua Islamic Boarding School and to identify the efforts made by the boarding school in overcoming moral changes caused by online game addiction. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of boarding school administrators, dormitory supervisors, and students of Cahaya Islam Papua Islamic Boarding School. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that online games have both positive and negative impacts on students’ morals. The positive impacts include increased self-confidence, teamwork skills, and entertainment for students. Meanwhile, the negative impacts include the use of harsh language, decreased discipline in worship, reduced communication with parents, declining learning motivation, and addiction to playing online games for long periods. The efforts made by the boarding school include exemplary approaches, giving advice, religious guidance, and educational sanctions for students who violate the rules. Therefore, the influence of online games on students’ morals is complex and requires continuous supervision, guidance, and cooperation between the boarding school and parents.]]>
