Environmental care character is a crucial trait to cultivate from an early age to foster responsible behavior in maintaining and preserving the environment. One approach that can be used is experiential learning that directly engages children in creative activities using natural materials, such as ecoprinting. This study aimed to develop the environmental care character of children aged 5–6 years at Raudhatul Ilmi Kindergarten through ecoprint activities. A Classroom Action Research (CAR) design was employed over two cycles; each cycle comprised planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were 10 children, and data were collected through observation using indicators of environmental care behavior and analysed with descriptive techniques. The findings indicate an improvement in observed environmental care behaviors following the implementation of ecoprint activities. The percentage of children reaching the “Developing as Expected” (BSH) and “Developing Very Well” (BSB) categories rose from 50% in Cycle I to 80% in Cycle II, exceeding the 75% classical mastery criterion set for this study. Because the study was conducted in a single class without a comparison group and without inferential statistical testing, these results should be read as a contextual improvement rather than as evidence of general effectiveness. The study implies that ecoprinting can serve as an alternative for creative and contextual learning to instill values of environmental care from an early age.
