This study developed an encyclopedia of economically valuable plants for the community of Hariti Island to serve as a learning resource for the Plant Diversity course. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, with 16 students participating in the trial phase. Identification of economically valuable plants revealed 12 species utilized by the community to meet daily economic needs. Validation by media experts yielded an average score of 97.5% (classified as "Highly Valid"), while validation by subject matter experts resulted in an average score of 92.5% (also "Highly Valid"). Student response scored 93.23, indicating a high level of practicality. Effectiveness analysis showed that the average student score rose from 77.5% on the pre-test to 93.75% on the post-test, demonstrating an improvement in learning outcomes following the use of the developed encyclopedia as a learning medium.
