This study was motivated by the low learning process and mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 95/II Muara Bungo, caused by teacher-centered learning and the low level of student participation. This study aimed to describe the improvement of the learning process and mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Make A Match learning model. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 19 third-grade students of SDN 95/II Muara Bungo. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, while the data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed that the implementation of the Make A Match learning model was able to improve both the learning process and students’ mathematics learning outcomes. Teacher activities improved from the Good category to the Very Good category, while student activities also increased from Good to Very Good. Classical learning mastery improved from 58% in Cycle I to 94.74% in Cycle II, exceeding the predetermined success indicator. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Make A Match learning model can improve the learning process and mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 95/II Muara Bungo. This model can serve as an alternative for teachers in creating more active, enjoyable, and effective learning.
