<![CDATA[Changes in diet and lifestyle during the month of Ramadan can increase the risk of stomach disorders, particularly among adolescents who have irregular eating habits and consume irritating foods. A lack of knowledge regarding the prevention and management of stomach ulcers is one of the factors that exacerbates this condition. This community service activity aims to improve students’ knowledge regarding the prevention and management of stomach ulcers during the Ramadan fast through health education. The methods used include interactive counseling, distribution of educational leaflets, discussions, and evaluation via pre-tests and post-tests. The activity was conducted with 45 students from MAN 1 Pekanbaru aged 15–18 years. Pre-test results indicated that the majority of respondents had a low level of knowledge (53%), whereas after the educational intervention, all respondents (100%) improved to the “good knowledge” category. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.05). Thus, health education has proven effective in improving adolescents’ knowledge regarding ulcer management during Ramadan. This activity is expected to encourage healthy lifestyle changes and increase adolescents’ awareness of maintaining stomach health while observing the fast.]]>
