Sytem stability and readiness are major challenges during the transition to new hospital tehnologies, particulary in medical record units that rely heavily on smooth data access. Hospital X implemented a new Hospital Management Information System starting in May 2026, although preliminary observations revealed persistent network, server, and user-readiness issues. This study aims to analyze the acceptance and utilization of SIMRS among medical record staff using the HOT-Fit method, covering four dimensions: Human, Organization, Technology, and Net Benefit. This deskriptive quantitative study used a likert-scale questionnaire distributed via total sampling to all medical record staff using SIMRS (n=27), analyzed using SPSS version 32 including validity, reliability, and respondent achievement level (TCR) test. All questionnaire items were valid and reliabel. The Human (78%), Organization (75%), Technology (72%), and Net Benefit (78%) all are in the “Good” category. In conclusion, the new SIMRS implementation has had a positive impack on work efficiency, but remains sub-optimal due to main issues in technical stability (frequent system errors) and inclomplete SOP’s or facilities. It is recommended that hospital management prioritize server/network infrastructure enhancements and complete supporting SOP’s and sustainable support facilities.
