Long-term orientations may support agricultural continuity, but their relationship with rice farmer capacity depends on more operational capabilities. This study examines digital capability, dynamic capability, and managerial competence as parallel statistical pathways linking infinite mindset to self-assessed rice farmer capacity in West Aceh, Indonesia. Descriptive analysis and independent partial least squares path modelling used the same 90 rice farmers, retaining 32 indicators and the direct mindset–capacity path. One missing capacity response was replaced by its observed indicator mean; an 89-case complete-response model provided a sensitivity check. Inference used 5,000 respondent-level bootstrap resamples, supplemented by location-cluster resampling and alternative specifications. Infinite mindset was positively associated with digital capability (β = 0.363), dynamic capability (β = 0.551), and managerial competence (β = 0.447). In the primary model, only managerial competence had a capacity association excluding zero (β = 0.560; 95% interval: 0.300–0.781). Its indirect association was 0.250 (0.122–0.418) and remained positive across the principal checks. Digital-path inference changed under location resampling, while the primary direct, digital-indirect, and dynamic-indirect intervals included zero. Capacity R² was 0.447, but restrictive-model residual diagnostics limited confirmatory interpretation. The findings support testing practical management routines alongside digital and adaptive support in rice extension, not established causal mediation or digital irrelevance.
