This study aimed to develop digital comic media for social studies learning, determine its feasibility based on expert assessments and user responses, and examine its effectiveness in improving students' cultural and local history literacy. This study used a Research and Development method with the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects were 35 fifth-grade students of SDN Sukamulya 05. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest. The results showed that the digital comic media obtained feasibility scores of 98% from the media expert, 93% from the material expert, and 83% from the language expert, all categorized as highly feasible. Teacher and student responses reached 89% and 84.38%, respectively, indicating positive responses. The effectiveness test showed an increase in the mean score from 53.46 in the pretest to 78.20 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.53 in the moderate category. Therefore, the developed digital comic media is highly feasible and effective for improving students' cultural and local history literacy in social studies learning.
