This study was motivated by the suboptimal implementation of social-caring character traits among students at SDN 47 Ampenan, amidst the influence of the digital era, which tends to foster individualism in primary school-aged children. The study aims to analyze and describe the forms of collaboration between teachers and parents, as well as the obstacles encountered in instilling social-caring character traits within the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) subject. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed at SDN 47 Ampenan, Mataram City. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the school principal, the fifth-grade teacher, parents, and students; the data were subsequently analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing, with validity verified via source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that collaboration is carried out through PPKn instruction, the fostering of habits and role-modeling at both school and home, gotong royong (mutual cooperation) activities, and communication via WhatsApp, communication logs, telephone calls, and face-to-face meetings. Identified obstacles include limited communication, parents' busy schedules, differing parenting styles, and uneven parental participation; consequently, more consistent communication and cooperation between teachers and parents are required to ensure the sustainable development of social-caring character traits.
