Empowering Students at Trenqaun Unismuh Makassar Vocational High School: Building Sustainable Modern Agricultural Enterprises through Hands-On Training

The Community Service Program at SMK Trenqaun Unismuh Makassar aims to strengthen students’ capacity to develop sustainable modern farming businesses. In collaboration with the Darul Fallaah Islamic Boarding School, this program focuses on three aspects: production, management, and marketing. In the production aspect, students are trained in modern farming techniques and the use of organic fertilizers. In management, students are taught how to develop business plans and maintain financial records. Meanwhile, in the marketing aspect, students are introduced to branding and digital marketing. Through targeted and ongoing guidance, this program is expected to overcome existing challenges and produce young entrepreneurs who are ready to compete in the agricultural sector.
