This study aims to describe the occupational stress conditions of Social Welfare Workers (TKS), identify relevant and applicable relaxation techniques, and evaluate their effectiveness in improving emotional management and reducing occupational stress. A narrative literature review method was employed by searching scientific articles published between 2021–2026 through Google Scholar, SINTA, and ScienceDirect databases. The results indicate that TKS occupational stress is influenced by internal factors such as self-efficacy and emotional intelligence, as well as external factors including excessive workload and lack of institutional support. Relaxation techniques, particularly Progressive Muscle Relaxation, have been proven effective in reducing occupational stress both physiologically and psychologically. Emotional regulation training also contributes significantly to improving workers' subjective well-being. This study concludes that optimal management of TKS occupational stress requires an integrated approach combining relaxation technique interventions, emotional regulation strengthening, and adequate social support within a conducive organizational environment.
