This research is motivated by the low consistency of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHB) implementation among parents of toddlers and the elderly, despite various health education activities having been implemented. The one-way education method results in less than optimal participant participation, necessitating a more participatory and contextual learning approach. This study aims to describe the implementation of PHBS education through an andragogical approach in the Toddler Family Development (BKB) and Family Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) activities in Tegalsari and Genteng Districts, Surabaya City. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the andragogical approach was able to increase participant engagement through discussions, questions and answers, and sharing experiences relevant to daily life. Participants became more active, enthusiastic, and easily understood PHBS material because the learning was tailored to health needs. The education activities also encouraged behavioral changes such as habits of maintaining personal hygiene, healthy eating patterns, and the implementation of healthy lifestyles within the family. Thus, the andragogical approach is considered effective in supporting PHBS education in community-based non-formal education.
