Parking space availability is a crucial factor for hospitals, especially for RSUD Labuang Baji, which serves a high number of patients and visitors daily. This study analyzes parking demand at RSUD Labuang Baji by examining the available parking capacity, the volume of parked vehicles, and the average parking duration. The findings indicate that the hospital's parking capacity consists of 136 car slots with 45" and 90" parking angles and 352 motorcycle slots with a 90 parking angle. The average parking volume reaches 278 cars and 533 motorcycles per day, while the accumulation rate is 79 cars and 173 motorcycles. The parking index shows an average of 77.21% for cars and 69.03% for motorcycles, suggesting that although the capacity is sufficient, many visitors still park outside the designated area. The primary issue identified is the long parking duration, typically exceeding 3 to 4 hours, which reduces turnover and limits space availability. To enhance parking efficiency, improved management strategies such as parking time restrictions and progressive pricing models are recommended. These measures could optimize space utilization, reduce congestion, and improve accessibility for patients and medical personnel.
