Abstract

In the world of construction, mortar has many functions, for example as an adhesive for precast concrete, filling voids in concrete and grouting materials. In this modern era, there are many additives that can be used to make mortar stronger and make it easier to manufacture. In this study, the additives used were Visco flow 3880 lv, Master gelnium 8305, and Consol flow 168. These additives able to slow down the drying process and can increase the strength of the mortar. This research is an experiment conducted at the Makassar Concrete Bosowa Laboratory. The composition of the mortar that will be used in this test is 1 kg of cement: 2 kg of sand. The dosage for each additive is 0.8%, 1%, and 1.2%. From the results of the study using a visco flow superplasticizer with a dose of 0.8%, 1%, and 1.2%, respectively, the results were 34.69 mpa, 35.10 mpa, 33.42 mpa. By using master glenium got 33.40 mpa, 34.20 mpa, 29.37 mpa. Meanwhile, using the console flow 30.80 mpa, 36.39 mpa, 36.10 mpa

Abstract

The median opening on Jalan Letjen Hertasing and Jalan Tun Abdul Razak for the U-Turn movement, often results in traffic jams. This study was conducted to determine the characteristics of traffic flow and U-Turn performance on these roads. This research is expected to be a reference to the Makassar City government and the Gowa Regency government in taking a policy on these roads. The methodology used in this study uses MKJI 1997. Based on the calculation of the performance of the segment in its current condition, Letjen Hertasning road has the highest degree of saturation value of 0.89 so it is categorized as being included in the E road service level at 17.00 – 18.00 WITA and causes queue lengths. up to 280 meters. For the Tun Abdul Razak road, the highest degree of saturation is 1.17, so it is categorized into the F road service level at 17.00 – 18.00 WITA and causes the queue length to reach 784 meters.

Abstract

Cold Paving Hot Mix Asbuton is a mixture of asbuton consisting of aggregate, granular asbuton, rejuvenator and other added ingredients mixed with cold heat. Hot and cold mixed asphalt asphalt is a ready-to-use asphalt mixture product that is used as a pavement surface layer for low traffic volume roads. The purpose of this study was to obtain the effect of adding styrofoam to the Marshall characteristics of the CPHMA type Buton asphalt mixture with repeated immersion. This study uses styrofoam waste with the addition of 5%, 10%, and 15%. Samples of test objects made as many as 33 samples, 6 normal samples and 27 samples of variation. Treatment of the specimens was carried out with repeated immersion variations of 6, 12, and 18 days. The manufacture of test objects is hot mixed and refers to the 2018 Bina Marga Specifications, the test is carried out with the Marshall test equipment. The results of this test indicate that the effect of Styrofoam waste as an additive in the CPHMA type Buton asphalt mixture with repeated immersion can cause the value of density, stability, MQ, and VFB to decrease. Abstract

The construction world has developed very quickly in recent years. Concrete is one example. Over time many new innovations have emerged to strengthen the concrete itself and the means of reducing waste that exist in the community. The purpose of this study was to obtain the influence of partial substitution of  sand with glass powder by 40%, 50%, 60% and the addition of epoxy substances by 10% on thestrength of concrete bending press.  44 samples were made, including 20 normal concrete samples and 24 variation concrete samples. Concrete will be soaked for 28 days. Testing of compressive strength, and bending strength of concrete is carried out when the life of the test object reaches 28 days. The results of this test show that variation concrete has a compressive strength, and a higher bending strength of concrete than normal concrete.  The more use of glass powder on the concrete mixture, the more decreased the  compressive strength,  and the strength of its lentur. However, the compressive strength and flexural strength of variation concrete are still higher than the normal compressive and flexural strength of concrete.  Epoxy does not have a great impact on concrete containing glass powder.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze thickness of apron pavement structure with Boeing 747-400 aircraft type at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport using the Federal Aviation Adminstration method. This research is located at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar. Data required includes secondary data in the form of aircraft movement traffic data from 2014 to 2018, apron layout and subgrade test California Bearing Ratio data as well as other data. The results of the planning analysis obtained the thickness of apron pavement structure with Boeing 747-400 aircraft type at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport using the Federal Aviation Adminstration method, the thickness of subbase was 20 cm, base course (stabilized) was 15 cm and surface f’c 33,2 MPa was 41 cm

Abstract

In this paper, calculations will be made to evaluate the vehicle capacity and performance of the street corners on the Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan Km. 18,  Jl. poros Maros – Makassar and Goa Ria street and how big the level of service is at the Asrama Haji street corners. Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan Km. 18,  Jl. poros Maros – Makassar and Jl. Goa Ria. Processing and analyzing data using MKJI 1997. The results of the research on the Asrama Haji intersection from the calculation concluded that the performance condition of the intersection is at level F, where, Jalan Poros Maros - Makassar has the highest traffic volume, 4104 pcu/hour, total flow point (QTOT) = 8588 pcu/hour capacity value ( C) = 3041 pcu/hour and degree of saturation (DS) = 1.35. and has a service level of F where the value of the degree of saturation is >1.00. For Jalan Poros Makassar – Maros, it is 2915 pcu/hour, the capacity value (C) = 2920 pcu/hour and the degree of saturation (DS) = 1.00. and has a service level E where the value of the degree of saturation ranges from 0.85 to 1.00. For Jl. Goa Ria is 1568 pcu/hour, capacity value (C) = 3101 pcu/hour and degree of saturation (DS) = 0,51. and has a service level of C where the degree of saturation is 0.45 – 0.74

Abstract

The requirement for a smooth and decent vehicle is naturally the single longing of all metropolitan networks in Indonesia. To solve transportation problems, individuals will generally purchase their own vehicles as motor vehicles and automobiles. This is due to the disappointment of vehicle users towards public transport. This condition brings about the expansion of vehicle ownership, bringing the development of the quantity of vehicles that are not similar to the road foundation, so it tends to clog for a very long time. This research is expected to be a solution or input for vehicle user savings. The study centers on interview surveys and recently led polls on online vehicle clients and confidential vehicle administration and private vehicle owners, under the condition of planned diversion to online application vehic. compiling questionnaires using the Multi Regression analysis method with the SPSS16.0 computer program which is used systematically to draw conclusions, For utilization below 21 km every day, online vehicle determination is cheaper than private vehicles, actually for use more than 21 km every day, the choice of secret vehicles is cheaper than online vehicles

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the drainage canal can control/accommodate flood discharge. This research was conducted in the Pitulua Street area, Rante Angin District, Lasusua City and began in October 2021. The type of research is descriptive quantitative case study approach. The object of this research is the drainage channel of Jalan Pitulua, Rante Angin District, Lasusua City. The results of this study note that the drainage channel with an existing capacity of 1.6854 m3/s (right), 1.863 m3/s (left) can accommodate the design flood discharge of 1.511 m3/s (Q2), 1.614 m3/s (Q5) and 1.677 m3/s (Q10)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the costs needed for rigid pavement construction, and to find out the capacity of the road How much Singki – Alang-alang road capacity according to The Bina Marga Rigid Pavement Planning 2017. Calculation of construction costs based on data from the Bina Marga Office of South Sulawesi Province in the form of work volume, unit price analysis and plan drawings. From hasi cost analysis shows that rigid pavement construction costs Rp 7,295,591,000.-.

Abstract

Expansive clay soil is a soil that has poor soil properties in most parts of Indonesia. It has soil properties that easily absorb large amounts of water so that it has sensitivity to the influence of water and is very easy to expand. construction by adding stability material aims to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. using waste carbide and fly ash as a stabilizing agent. This study used 12% addition of waste carbide and variations of fly ash 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% and 12.5% of the dry weight of the soil. From the results of this study, it was found that the compressive strength and shear strength test values with the addition of 7.5% fly ash + 12% carbide waste experienced a maximum increase, so that the maximum free compressive strength qu value was 1.145 kg/cm2 and the direct shear strength got the maximum shear strength value of 0.6688 kg/cm2.
