Abstract

Student Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa/KKM) is one of the implementations of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), integrating education, research, and community service. The KKM program conducted by Universitas Primagraha in Kotabaru Village was designed to empower the local community through a participatory approach involving university students, village government, and community members. This community service activity aimed to enhance community capacity in various sectors, including digital literacy, micro-enterprise development, education, public health, and environmental awareness. The program employed a qualitative descriptive method consisting of observation, community needs assessment, program planning, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. The activities included socialization, training, educational campaigns, assistance for micro and small enterprises, environmental clean-up programs, and community empowerment based on local potential. The implementation results indicated improvements in community knowledge, skills, and participation in supporting local development initiatives. In addition, the KKM program enhanced students' practical competencies, communication skills, leadership, and collaborative abilities in solving community problems. Therefore, the implementation of the Community Empowerment Program through the Student Community Service Program (KKM) of Universitas Primagraha in Kotabaru Village contributed positively to improving community capacity while strengthening collaboration among higher education institutions, local government, and the community in achieving sustainable development.
