Civic education plays an important role in developing students’ character, particularly disciplinary character in academic and social life. Disciplinary character is not only related to compliance with school regulations, but also includes responsibility, awareness of obligations, and consistency in following rules. This study aims to analyze the role of civic education in developing students’ disciplinary character. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method by examining relevant scientific articles published between 2021 and 2024. The data were analyzed descriptively by identifying and comparing previous research findings related to civic education and disciplinary character. The results show that civic education plays a role in instilling responsibility, compliance with norms, awareness of obligations, and disciplined behavior. The role of teachers, habituation, exemplary behavior, and a supportive school environment also contributes to the development of students’ disciplinary character. Therefore, civic education not only improves students’ understanding of civic and national life but also contributes to developing disciplinary character that can be applied in everyday life.
