This research explores the relevance of psychology in civic education for the development of students' character through a literature review analysis. The findings reveal that psychological aspects such as emotional management, intrinsic motivation, and psychological understanding of social learning play a crucial role in shaping students' character. These findings are reinforced by a focus on the use of technology, parental involvement, and understanding the challenges of implementation as supporting factors. However, ongoing challenges such as resource availability and contextual adaptation need serious consideration. Sustainability and further development in teaching strategies, coupled with in-depth research to unearth the potential of psychology in civic education, are identified as essential steps for successful implementation. This study affirms that understanding and integrating psychology into civic education can positively contribute to the formation of students' characters, creating an empowered younger generation with a heightened sense of civic awareness.
