Twenty-first-century learning requires the development of higher-order thinking skills, including critical thinking. However, students’ critical thinking skills in science subjects remain relatively low due to the use of conventional teaching methods and limited innovative learning media. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of the Word Search Puzzle learning media in improving the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in science at SDN Pondok Kacang Timur 04. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model, consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The results showed that material expert validation obtained a score of 80%, categorized as feasible, while language expert validation reached 80%, also categorized as feasible. Media expert validation obtained a score of 96%, categorized as highly feasible. During the dissemination stage, student responses reached 96.5%, categorized as highly practical, while teacher responses reached 100%. These findings indicate that the Word Search Puzzle learning media has a high level of feasibility and practicality for use in science learning. The media can serve as an innovative and engaging learning alternative while stimulating students’ critical thinking skills. Therefore, the Word Search Puzzle is feasible and practical for use as science learning media to support the development of students’ critical thinking skills.
