Fathers’ involvement in child-rearing plays a crucial role in supporting the development of moral and religious values in early childhood. This study aims to determine the effect of fathers’ involvement in child-rearing on the development of moral and religious values in 5 to 6 year old children at Diniyah Puteri Kindergarten in Pekanbaru. This study employs a quantitative approach, involving fathers and their 5 to 6 year old children as research subjects. Data were collected through observation and interviews based on indicators of fathers’ involvement in child-rearing as well as the development of children’s moral and religious values. The data obtained were then analyzed to determine the influence of fathers’ involvement in child-rearing on the development of children’s moral and religious values. The results indicate that fathers’ involvement in child-rearing contributes to the development of children’s moral and religious values, particularly through guidance, interaction, motivation, protection, and setting a good example. Optimal father involvement can support the development of positive behaviors in children, such as respecting parents, helping others, and maintaining personal and environmental hygiene. Thus, father involvement in child-rearing is a crucial aspect in fostering the instillation and development of moral and religious values in children aged 5-6 years.
