Abstract

Mothers have multi-task that must be done every day. Household problem, work problem and also the economic problem experienced by many mothers in the District of Kepulauan Meranti became the causes of stress experienced by mothers that affect how she respond the environment, also affect the child rearing. The ability to deal with problems is called resilience. This study aims to examine the resilience of mothers who come from low income families in the District of Kepulauan Meranti. This study used descriptive quantitative method. Sampling method used is random sampling and there are 70 mothers as sample. It was found that the mother's resilience was 73,03%. Mothers in Kepulauan Meranti District is resilience eventough they have ti struggle with many stressfull condition. The support from spouse and relatives which offer the positive relationship help mothers to overcome stress and become resilience. Mother need to be resilient to deal with her multi-task, mainly in child rearing.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, school from home (SFH) policy was regulated with the aim of inhibiting the spread of the virus. The SFH process makes children interact frequently with gadgets because learning is occurred online, however in practice, they must refer to the national curriculum. This study aims to find out the effects of using gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic on children's behavior. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population of the study were 74 kindergarten’ students in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. Researchers took 50% of the population so that from 74 people, 30 children were taken to be the trial sample and the rest were the research samples, as many as 37 children. The results showed that the most dominant effect of using gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic on children's behavior was in the compulsion indicator. For further research, it can be investigated the influence of these aspects with parenting styles.

Abstract

Based on the field observations, it can be seen that the children's independence at the age of 5-6 years,there are still many children who are not independent yet in carrying out daily activities, so it is necessaryto use the flipped learning model. This study is aimed to determine the effect of the use of the flippedlearning model on children's independence. This research was conducted at Pembina 2 KindergartenPekanbaru. This study used an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design with apopulation of 82 children. The subject of this research is 30 children. Data collection techniques in thisstudy were observation. The data analysis technique used a t-test. Hypothesis test results using pairedsample t-test method obtained t value = 21.330 with a value (sig 2 tailed) = 0,000 <0.05 it is greater thant table = 2.145, it can be concluded that there is significant effect after using the flipped learning modelthat is equal to 70,44% on children's independence. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di lapangan dapat diketahui bahwa kemandirian anak usia 5 – 6 tahun masih banyak yang belum mandiri dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari, sehingga perlu menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran flipped learning terhadap kemandirian anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Negeri Pembina 2 Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 82 orang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan observasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan metode paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai t hitung = 21,330 dengan nilai (sig 2 tailed) = 0,000<0,05 lebih besar dari ttabel=2,145  maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped learning yaitu sebesar 70,44% terhadap kemandirian anak.

Abstract

The general objective in this study was to determine the description of the use of devices in alphageneration children in Pekanbaru City. The gadget comes from English which means small electronic devices that havespecial functions. Among smartphones like the iPhone and Blackberry, and netbooks (a combination of portablecomputers such as notebooks and the internet). In Indonesian the word gadget is often also referred to as a gadget.This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City in 12 Districts. The results of the study explained that the gadget devicesthat children use are still borrowing parents, the type of gadget that children use the most is smartphones, the activitiesthat children do other than using gadgets most often are playing outside the home, the places where children use themost gadgets use the family room , the time to use the gadget for children is not every day, namely on certain days suchas holidays, the application that is often used by children is Youtube, complaints from children after using the gadgetare raging if not given a gadget, and accounts that most children have are YouTube channels.

Abstract

Kemajuan zaman menawarkan berbagai kemudahan, tapi sekaligus juga berbagai masalah. Berkaitan dengan anak, maka permasalahan yang mungkin muncul dapat berasal dari lingkungan rumah, sekolah, maupun lingkungan yang lebih luas. Untuk itu orang tua perlu mempersiapkan anak agar mampu menghadapi berbagai masalah dan hambatan dengan kemampuan bertahan yang baik dan bangkit kembali. Kemampuan ini disebut dengan resiliensi. Untuk membentuk resiliensi tersebut, orang tua perlu berempati, berkomunikasi dan bersikap positif pada anak, melatih anak agar dapat membuat keputusan dan memecahkan masalah, membantu anak bersikap realistis, menumbuhkan kedisiplinan, hingga melibatkan anak dalam berbagai kegiatan sosial. Peran orang tua dalam hal ini sangat penting. Karenanya orang tua tidak lagi bisa sekedar menggunakan cara tradisional dalam mendidik anak, tapi orang tua harus terbuka dengan cara-cara baru yang semuanya bertujuan untuk menumbuhkembangkan resiliensi pada anak.Progress of the times offers a variety of conveniences, but also various problems. In relation to children, problems may arise from the home, school, and wider environment. For that parents need to prepare children to be able to deal with various problems and obstacles with good survival and resurgence. This ability is called resilience. To shape the resilience, parents need to empathize, communicate and be positive to the child, train children to make decisions and solve problems, help children be realistic, foster discipline, to engage children in various social activities. The role of parents in this case is very important. Therefore parents can no longer simply use traditional ways of educating children, but parents should be open in new ways all aiming to cultivate resilience in children.

Abstract

Kesiapan anak masuk sekolah dasar merupakan kondisi yang harus menjadi perhatian oleh orang tua dan guru pendidikan anak usia dini. Bila anak siap untuk masuk sekolah dasar, maka akan berdampak pada penyesuaian diri anak, kemampuan berinteraksi, juga prestasi akademis di sekolah. Salah satu aspek penting yang perlu dimiliki anak agar siap masuk ke sekolah dasar adalah resiliensi atau kemampuan untuk bertahan pada saat menghadapi permasalahan dan kesulitan. Artikel ini memberikan pandangan mengenai kesiapan anak dalam memasuki pendidikan selanjutnya dilihat dari aspek resiliensi. Ulasan resiliensi sebagai kesiapan anak memasuki pendidikan tingkat lanjut merupakan sebuah hal yang menarik, karena resiliensi dirasakan semakin dibutuhkan dalam pemenuhan kesiapan anak memasuki pendidikan formal, mengingat persaingan dan tekanan yang semakin banyak dihadapi anak di sekolah. Penulisan artikel menggunakan kajian literatur dengan mengumpulkan berbagai referensi terkait dengan resiliensi dan kesiapan anak masuk sekolah untuk dibahas lebih lanjut. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah bahwa kasih sayang, komunikasi, empati serta dukungan yang tepat diberikan oleh orang dewasa dan menempatkan anak pada sekolah dengan iklim yang kondusif, serta adil akan menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan resiliensi pada anak. Dengan resiliensi yang baik, maka anak menjadi tangguh dalam menghadapi tantangan yang ditemui pada lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This training activity aims to provide teachers with knowledge and skills in making kokodema an environmentally friendly medium in reducing plastic waste pollution in schools. The activities carried out consist of three activity activities, namely pre-activity, implementation of activities, and post-activity. Pre-activity activities are initial exploratory activities to find reasons for teachers/activity participants to participate in activities. While the implementation of the activity has carried out by providing a list of questions to the teacher/participant, which contained the teacher's initial knowledge of kokedama as an environmentally friendly medium, then continued with the delivery of material. The third activity is post-activity, an activity to process data obtained from participant/teacher responses before and after the activity has carried out. Training activities for making kokodema an environmentally friendly medium can increase the knowledge and skills of teachers in reducing plastic waste pollution in schools. This has shown by the active participation of the participants in participating in training activities ranging from delivering material, taking an active role in discussions, carrying out kokedama making practices and participating actively in evaluation and reflection activities.

Abstract

This research is based on observations of researchers at TK IT Al-Ittihad Rumbai PesisirPekanbaru City. In this observation the researchers concluded that kinesthetic intelligence requires good self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of Confidence with Kinesthetic Intelligence in Children Aged 5-6 Years at TK IT Al-Ittihad Rumbai Pesisir, Pekanbaru City. This research is a quantitative study with the type of correlation research. The study population was children aged 5-6 years in TK IT Al-Ittihad Rumbai Pesisir Pekanbaru City, with the sample used amounted to 30 children aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique used is observation. Analysis of the study used Pearson product moment correlation test with nominal data characteristics with the help of SPSS IMB ver.24. Based on the calculation results of the correlation test, the results of the bivariate correlation coefficient obtained between Confidence with kinesthetic intelligence of rxy = 0.964. This shows that there is a relationship between self-confidence with kinesthetic intelligence. As an evaluation criterion, if probability> 0.05 then Ho is accepted, whereas if probability <0.05 then Ho is rejected (Syofian, 2014). In the correlation test table results obtained a probability number of 0,000, where 0,000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant positive relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fun learning media on the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters of children aged 4-5 years in RA Azkiyah, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The subjects in this study were all kindergarten A students in RA Azkiyah, Kuantan Singingi Regency with a total of 27 children. The research method used, namely the Pretest-Posttest Design experiment to see the influence of fun learning media on the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters of children. The data analysis technique in this study is to use the t-test analysis using the SPSS statistical program series for window ver 23. From the analysis of the data, the tcount is 17,095, greater than ttable = 2,056 with sig 0,000 <0,05. The results of this study are there are significant differences in the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters of children before and after the use of fun learning media, it is concluded that there is an influence of Fun Learning media on the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters of children aged 4-5 years in RA Azkiyah Kuantan Singingi Regency by 48,29 %.

Abstract

Saat ini  orang tua membutuhkan platform baru yang dapat diakses di mana saja dan kapan saja untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang bullying. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua tentang bullying menggunakan aplikasi smart parenting melalui penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy exsperiment) dengan desain the posttest-only control-group desain. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah orang tua anak usia dini yang berjumlah 30 orang di Kota Pekanbaru. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel ini adalah teknik random sampling. Menggunakan dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen untuk diberikan perlakuan dan kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket.  Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan penggunan aplikasi smart parenting dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua tentang bullying dengan hasil rata-rata eksperimen 77,77 dan kontrol 70,83. Dengan demikian, aplikasi smart parenting dapat membantu orang tua memahami definisi bullying, bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying, hingga pencegahan dan solusi menghadapi permasalahan bullying
