This study was motivated by elementary school students' limited understanding of fraction concepts—an issue stemming from the abstract nature of the subject matter, the limited use of concrete learning aids, and the suboptimal application of gamification elements in mathematics instruction. The study aimed to develop a gamification-based Fraction Triangle Card medium that is feasible, practical, and effective for teaching fractions in elementary schools. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed using the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were third-grade students at SDN Pondok Cabe Ilir 01, involving six students in the small-group trial and 22 students in the large-group trial. Research instruments included expert validation questionnaires (using a Likert scale) and student response questionnaires (using a Guttman scale). The results indicated that the gamification-based Fraction Triangle Card medium achieved a high level of validity, with ratings of 93.33% from the subject matter expert, 94.29% from the language expert, and 100% from the media expert. Practicality tests yielded scores of 95% for the small group and 91.36% for the large group, both falling into the high category. Consequently, the gamification-based Fraction Triangle Card medium is deemed feasible, practical, and effective for teaching fractions, while also fostering a learning environment that is active, engaging, enjoyable, and learner centered.
