The notary's responsibility for international prenuptial agreements between foreign nationals (WNA) drawn up in Indonesia is based on Law No. 2 of 2014 and applicable civil regulations. The notary is responsible for ensuring formal validity, the material accuracy of the parties' data, and the agreement's compliance with Indonesian law. The notary is responsible for drafting the agreement in the form of an authentic deed (notarial deed) to ensure full evidentiary force, in accordance with Article 139 of the Civil Code. The notary must ensure that both foreign nationals are present in person before the notary in Indonesia when signing the deed. The signing cannot be delegated. This research was conducted using legal research, specifically normative juridical research. Descriptive analytical research aims to describe a situation or phenomenon or to determine the relationship between one phenomenon and another. The data collection technique used was literature review. The results of the research and discussion indicate that a prenuptial agreement between a foreign national and an Indonesian citizen, under Indonesian law, has very strong and valid legal standing in Indonesia. It serves as a protector of assets, particularly to prevent the mixing of assets that could result in Indonesian citizens losing ownership rights to land or certain assets. This agreement must be in writing, notarized, and recorded.
