<![CDATA[This study aimed to improve the learning activeness and learning outcomes of Grade VII G students at SMPN 6 Madiun on the topic of the structure and elements of official and personal letters through the use of the Gimkit interactive quiz media. The study was motivated by the low level of student activeness during the learning process, as indicated by the lack of participation in asking questions, answering questions, and expressing opinions during classroom activities. This condition had an impact on students' learning outcomes, which had not yet reached the expected level. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 30 students of Grade VII G at SMPN 6 Madiun in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, observations of students' learning activeness, documentation, and students' worksheet (LKPD) results. In the first cycle, learning was implemented using the Discovery learning model without the support of Gimkit media. In the second cycle, the Discovery learning model was integrated with the Gimkit interactive quiz media. The findings revealed that the use of Gimkit interactive quiz media successfully improved both students' learning activeness and learning outcomes. Students' learning activeness increased from 58% in the preliminary condition to 76% in Cycle I and further improved to 90% in Cycle II. The average learning outcome score increased from 73.8 in the preliminary condition to 81.5 in Cycle I and reached 89.2 in Cycle II. Classical learning mastery also improved from 66.7% to 96.7%. In addition, approximately 80% of the students actively asked questions related to the learning materials and the quizzes provided in Gimkit. Therefore, the Gimkit interactive quiz media proved to be effective in enhancing students' learning activeness and learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning.]]>
