<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the implementation of character education in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Ethics (PAIBP) and its influence on the ethics of ninth-grade students at SMP Tahfidzul Qur'an Amanah. The research employed a quantitative causal-associative approach with an ex post facto design. The population and sample consisted of 43 students, determined through saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire, observation, and documentation, and were subsequently analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation and simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that the implementation of character education in PAIBP learning falls into the very high category (81.4%), while student ethics likewise fall into the very high category (81.8%). Hypothesis testing confirms a positive and significant influence between character education and student ethics, with a correlation coefficient of 0.745 (classified as strong) and a coefficient of determination of 55.5%, while the remaining 44.5% is attributed to factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings affirm that strengthening teacher exemplarity and habituating Qur'anic values within a boarding school environment contribute significantly to the formation of sound student ethics.]]>
