<![CDATA[This study examines the collaborative strategy implemented by the Jambi Regional Police and the Jambi Provincial Education Office to prevent online gambling among students in Jambi City, while also identifying supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employed a qualitative case-study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving government officials, police personnel, school leaders, guidance and counseling teachers, and students at three secondary schools in Jambi City. Data were analyzed through reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with source triangulation used to strengthen credibility. The analysis adopted Geoff Mulgan’s (2009) public strategy perspective, covering purpose, environment, direction, action, and learning. The findings indicate that prevention has been carried out through character education, digital literacy, legal education, school outreach, cyber patrols, website blocking, restrictions on gadget use during learning, extracurricular activities, school rules, and inter-agency coordination. The strategy is supported by coordination among institutions, school commitment, and a conducive educational environment. However, implementation remains constrained by limited supervision, uneven policy implementation, rapid changes in digital crime, easy access to gambling platforms, weak parental monitoring, and peer influence. The study concludes that prevention needs to be strengthened .through clearer operational procedures, measurable evaluation indicators, continuous digital literacy, stronger school-family cooperation, and sustainable inter-agency collaboration.]]>
