This study aims to describe the implementation of the Qira’atul Kutub Excellence Program and its contribution to students' learning outcomes in supporting maharah qira’ah at the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School (IBS) MAN 1 Kota Pekalongan. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, with the program coordinator, teachers, and students participating in the program serving as the data sources. Data validity was examined through source triangulation and technique triangulation, while data analysis referred to the Miles and Huberman interactive model, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the program was carried out systematically through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation stage integrated the bandongan and sorogan methods, while the evaluation stage consisted of formative and summative assessments in the form of question-and-answer sessions, nadzom memorization, reading unvowelled Arabic texts (kitab gundul), and written tests. Further findings reveal that the program contributed positively to students' learning outcomes, as reflected in the improvement of reading fluency, comprehension of meaning, mastery of nahwu and sharaf rules, and understanding of Arabic texts. Thus, the Qira’atul Kutub Excellence Program is proven to play a significant role in sustainably enhancing students' maharah qira’ah and can serve as an effective model for pesantren-based Arabic language learning.
