geometry due to teacher-centered learning, which limited students' understanding of sides, angles, and the properties of plane figures. The study aimed to improve students' mathematical conceptual understanding through the implementation of the Know Want Learn (KWL) method assisted by Tree Talk media with the STEAM approach. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles involving 21 third-grade students of SDN Karanganyar 2 Demak. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that learning mastery increased from 71.4% in Cycle I to 100% in Cycle II, while the average score improved from 70.5 to 95. Students' learning activities also increased from 70% to 92%, and teachers' instructional management skills improved from 80% to 95%. These findings indicate that the Know Want Learn (KWL) method assisted by Tree Talk media with the STEAM approach effectively improved students' mathematical conceptual understanding, learning activities, and teachers' instructional skills in learning plane geometry.
