<![CDATA[Early childhood social and emotional development often faces challenges such as the emergence of negative behaviors including aggressiveness, lack of discipline, and difficulties in emotional regulation. These conditions highlight the need for effective intervention strategies to foster positive behaviors, particularly in terms of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and self-control. This study aims to systematically analyze the effectiveness of the token economy in modifying the behavior of children aged 3–6 years by emphasizing implementation consistency, the role of educators, parental involvement, and cultural relevance. A systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA approach, analyzing 25 articles published between 2019 and 2024. Data were collected through literature selection based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzed thematically to identify patterns of intervention effectiveness. The results indicate that token economy interventions consistently enhance prosocial behavior and reduce disruptive behavior, especially when supported by teacher training and family engagement. The study concludes that token economy can be integrated into early childhood education curricula as a positive reinforcement-based behavior management strategy. Further implications highlight the importance of longitudinal studies to explore its long-term impact on children’s character development.]]>
