This study aims to examine how leadership style and career development affect employee job satisfaction at the Directorate General of Transmigration Area Development (Ditjen PPKTrans), Ministry of Transmigration. Job satisfaction is closely tied to how well the institution carries out its leadership role and provides career development opportunities. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach, collecting data through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 58 active civil servants at the Secretariat and Directorate of Transmigration Area Development via saturated sampling, and analyzed with SPSS version 20. The t-test results show that leadership style has no significant effect on job satisfaction (t = 1.320 < t table 2.004), while career development does (t = 2.846 > t table 2.004). The f-test confirms that the two variables jointly have a significant effect on job satisfaction (f = 60.732 > f table 3.16), explaining 68.8% of the variance. These results indicate a need for Ditjen PPKTrans to strengthen its leadership and career development policies.
