Patient satisfaction remains one of the primary benchmarks used to evaluate hospital service quality. At present, XYZ Hospital collects patient feedback through paper-based questionnaires, a practice that slows down data processing, increases the chance of losing records, and makes swift analysis difficult. To address this gap, the present study designs and develops a web-based Patient Feedback Information System built on top of the Laravel framework. The choice of Laravel is grounded in its Model-View-Controller (MVC) structure, which keeps data handling, interface rendering, and application logic in separate yet coordinated layers, producing code that is easier to organize and maintain. Development relies on Laravel's routing mechanism, the Eloquent ORM for interacting with a MySQL database, Blade for building the interface, and middleware for securing administrator access. Testing confirms that the resulting system supports the full feedback workflow: selecting a clinic/unit, entering patient details, answering the standard Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) questions together with topic-specific dynamic items, and storing every response in a relational MySQL database. For administrators, Laravel streamlines the creation of a management dashboard covering units, topics, and questions, along with tabular and graphical presentations of survey outcomes. Overall, adopting Laravel shortened the development timeline, produced cleaner and more readable code, and delivered a feedback system that outperforms a framework-free approach in speed, structure, and long-term maintainabilit.
