Preserving traditional performing arts in the modern era faces challenges from shifting public interest, requiring an integrated collaborative approach among key stakeholders. This community engagement initiative aims to analyze the forms of institutional synergy and community asset utilization through the Campursari Guyon Maton Cak Percil CS performance in Surabaya City. A qualitative approach based on the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) framework was employed through in-depth interviews with the East Java Culture and Tourism Office, micro-entrepreneurs, and audience members, supplemented by participatory observation at the venue and document analysis of the Regional Parliament's Main Thoughts policy. The findings reveal that the three-pillar synergy involving the local government as regulator, the Regional Parliament Commission E as budget facilitator, and local artists as cultural communicators successfully transformed the Unitomo Campus and Makodam V/Brawijaya areas into an inclusive and egalitarian public sphere. Through an adaptive comedy approach of guyon maton, the performance effectively deconstructed rigid stereotypes surrounding traditional art, stimulated cultural enculturation among youth, and boosted the grassroots economy for small informal vendors. Despite facing bureaucratic coordination challenges and weather conditions, the event's sustained impact was widely extended through audience-driven digital promotion. In conclusion, asset-based cross-sectoral collaboration proves to be an effective model for rejuvenating local culture while strengthening social cohesion and community economic empowerment.
