Abstract

Bunda atau Guru di Pos Pendidikan Anak Terpadu (PPT) Harapan Bunda Dusun Sumberan RT 01/RW 04 Kelurahan Balas Klumprik, Kecamatan Wiyung, Kota Surabaya tidak memiliki latar belakang disiplin ilmu kependidikan seni. Ada empat (4) orang Bunda di PPT Harapan Bunda, mereka memiliki latar belakang pendidikan S-1 Pertanian sebanyak (1) satu orang, (1) orang S-1 Bidang akuntasi, (1) orang lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dan 1 orang lulusan Sekolah Dasar (SD). Pos PAUD Terpadu yang dikembangkan di seluruh Rukun Warga (RW) Kota Surabaya awal mulanya memang diambil dari para kader kegiatan yang aktif di masing-masing RW, sehingga dapat terjadi para Bunda/Guru nya tidak memiliki latar belakang disiplin ilmu kependidikan khususnya seni. Sehingga tujuan pengajarannya lebih berorientasi bagaimana siswa/anak didik bisa membaca dan berhitung (aspek kognitif). Pola demikian kurang tepat mengingat Pos PAUD Terpadu siswanya adalah anak-anak dengan usia 2-4 tahun, yang lebih berorientasi pada pola asuh bermaian dan atau bersosial (aspek psikomotorik dan afektif). Hal inilah yang mendasari dikenalkannya tari anak melalui metode pelatihan, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi para Bunda/Guru, sehingga ada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran aspek psikomotorik dan aspek afektif.

Abstract

The presentation of the Ngrema dance in the Ludruk performance takes a relatively long time, especially in the part of the interlude structure because there are nyawer spectators and involved in nayub in the presentation. In this era of tourism that respects time, long presentations of art are no longer interesting to show, therefore a Lecturer at the Sekolah Tinggi Kesenian Wilwatikta Surabaya held community service activities by providing socialization of compact Ngrema at the pendapa of the East Java Cultural Park in Surabaya as a result of the revitalization of Ngrema Ludruk Karya Mojokerto culture. The methods used are demonstration and drill in the process of condensing motion material, chants, and music in each part of the Ngrema Ludruk performance structure. The result of this community service was Ngrema Ludruk in compact form which received high appreciation and enthusiasm from the Ludruk community and the audience in general.

Abstract

Sandur Manduro is a performing art in the form of traditional theater which is rooted in or sourced from the people's way of life, born from the spontaneous life of the people of Manduro Village, Kabuh District, Jombang Regency. Sandur Manduro contains various elements of art, such as Fine Arts, Literary Arts, Music Arts and Dance Arts. Sandur Manduro's art has a ritual function, currently experiencing a decline in staging. There is no regeneration, because the Sandur Manduro players are old enough to be one of the problems. Through the Community Partnership Program (PKM) it is hoped that Sandur Manduro will be independent. One of the methods used is to provide training assistance for the Sandur Manduro dance for the younger generation of Manduro Village.

Abstract

Community service activities for gringsing batik artisans in Desa Gesikharjo, Kec. Palang, Kab. Tuban by the Surabaya STKW Team, improve to skills of batik artisans in developing gringsing motif designs to strengthen their character as coastal batik. The development of motif designs is carried out by involving artisans in the process of generating ideas and developing motifs through FGDs and workshops. This activity was able to produce the development of the gringsing batik motif "Sam Pek Ing Tay" which has the characteristics of typical coastal batik.

Abstract

The performing arts of traditional theater in the community, especially in the Mojokerto area, there are many art groups that still exist. This is evidenced by the large number of art groups spread across various regions in the regency and city of Mojokerto. One of the iconic arts that is the pride of Mojokerto residents is Bantengan art, this art has its own prestige for every Mojokerto resident. Bantengan art is almost owned by every village, usually between one village and another village competing with each other to make the banteng arts group they protect better than the others. Because of that, the banteng arts in the Mojokerto region are developing and are in demand by the younger generation. Besides that, the bullfighting art certainly has its own challenges in its conservation efforts, this is because of the challenges of modernization and technological developments. In other words, the banteng that exist in Mojokerto are able to survive because each region has its own prestige to preserve and make the banteng arts group superior to other groups. However, specifically in the community service carried out by the writer in the village of Wiyu, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency, he found that the storyline of the banteng storyline had not been conceptualized into a traditional theatrical performance. Thus the author goes directly into the field to collect data in an effort to write a dramatic story about the bullfighting scene with a simpler packaging but conveys the meaning and message of the story.

Abstract

Geguritan is a poem composed in Javanese words. The word gurit means composing, geguritan means essay, writing, song, song. The meaning of this lexican expands as geguritan means chanting, singing songs. This meaning is still valid in the oral tradition in Bali (in the Javanese literary tradition, geguritan has a narrower meaning, focused on interpreting geguritan as Javanese poetry). Workshop participants at the end of the activity have the ability to create Javanese literary works in accordance with their personal experience and the participants' familiarity with the everyday environment. This makes it easier for participants to compose the structure of everyday communication into beautiful language, namely geguritan.

Abstract

Wood waste is unused and worthless pieces or remnants of wood production. Currently, wood waste is only used as charcoal or burned. The service team conducted a case study at CV in this community service. Mother's Blessing, District. Sidayu, Kab. Gresik. This activity requires further community service regarding the use of wood waste so that it becomes something valuable and useful. The method applied in this community service is to recognize several types of available wood materials and various forms of unused pieces of production leftovers—and continue with FGD, namely product design planning. As a result of this community service, it was found that wood waste left over from production could be reused into a useful and more valuable product, namely a portable notebook stand

Abstract

After the closure of the THR Surabaya complex (2019), the Irama Budaya ludruk community is now in a worrying situation of "stagnation". Until now, there is still no "vehicle" that is willing to accommodate this community to hold its performances again. Meanwhile, folk traditional theater performances (ludruk) which are held in person are now increasingly difficult to do and rarely found, in fact the growth and development of electronic social media (social media) has provided space for traditional theater to organize performances. In its development, live performances require a lot of money and take longer, this can make the audience feel bored, especially the younger generation. On the other hand, a lot of art is commodified through social media broadcasts which almost never leave any free time. The presence of electronic social media has created a new entertainment industry with artistic settings (scenography) supported by technological sophistication, whereas traditional theater performances are considered outdated, and often depend on supporting communities which are starting to decline. This social phenomenon has an impact on the behavior of today's audiences who prefer electronic media, especially YouTube, so that the traditional theater community needs to be "empowered" through virtual works to improve Information and Technology (IT) capabilities. Empowering the traditional theater community aims to put into practice starting from the process of preparing scenography equipment to editing various elements and elements of the artistic layout of virtual work performances. The method for empowering the traditional theater community is carried out through socialization (mentoring, training and production) and direct practice from resource persons. Through this empowerment, it is hoped that it can improve the IT capabilities of the traditional theater community in facing forms of audience transformation, and can utilize "electronic social media" as a new platform for presenting artistic performances through virtual works.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) is one of the three dharmas in the Tridharma of Higher Education which is tasked with making the life of the nation and state intelligent and advancing the welfare of society by utilizing educational knowledge in addition to the dharma of research and the dharma of education and teaching. Based on this, ISI Denpasar in 2023 will carry out PKM activities in Paksebali village, Klungkung Regency with the activity title "Developing English Speaking Tour Guides and the Dewa Mesraman Dance Drama in Efforts to Develop Paksebali Village Culture in Klungkung Regency". The method of implementing activities in PKM is carried out in three stages, namely: planning, implementation and evaluation. The purpose of this article is to discuss the process of Paksebali village PKM activities and the outcomes achieved in these activities. This PKM activity produced an English speaking tour guide and the Dewa Mesraman dance drama which was made into a video recording and published on YouTube.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the abilities of Muhammadiyah 4 Pucang Elementary School students in Surabaya in processing artistic creativity through acting. The material provided is studying and imitating characters in children's story texts who have local history competence and are socio-cultural. The learning model is role-playing based on children's games or role-playing by inviting students to imitate cute animal movements, traditional games, and character dialogues in children's story scripts that have local content and aspects of populist history. The basic reason for carrying out this activity is the lack of knowledge and experience of students in cultivating creativity through knowledge of children's script stories that are local to regional culture. The hope is to provide space for creativity to every student while at the same time strengthening the existence of regional arts and culture in children as the next generation of the nation. The steps are taken by providing role training to the characters through concentration, emotional memory, dramatic behavior, character building, observation, and rhythm. The result of this training is a form of children's drama performance. This Community Service activity through acting training on a children's script entitled Sawunggaling Has Ideals by Muhammadiyah Elementary School students is to foster creativity and interest in art in children through children's drama performances that have local historical and socio-cultural values.
