The full day school system is a learning system believed to enhance students' learning motivation and character through better-structured learning time, student activities, and learning programs. This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the full day school system on learning motivation and on student character at SMA Negeri 14 Kota Tangerang. This study used a descriptive correlational method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 107 eleventh-grade social science students determined through proportionate stratified random sampling from a population of 147 students, with the sample size calculated using the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS 25. The results show that the full day school system has a positive and significant effect on students' learning motivation (R = 0.391; R² = 0.153; t-count 4.350 > t-table 1.983; sig. 0.000) and on student character (R = 0.380; R² = 0.144; t-count 4.204 > t-table 1.983; sig. 0.000). These findings indicate that the better the time management, student activities, and learning programs within the full day school system, the higher students' learning motivation and character. This study recommends that schools maintain and periodically evaluate the implementation of student activities and learning programs within the full day school system.
