This study aims to analyze the physics learning process and instructional materials at SMA Swasta Nasrani 3 Medan. A descriptive approach was used, with data collected through an interview with a physics teacher and documentation in the form of a teaching module. The results show that physics learning is implemented based on the Merdeka Curriculum using the Deep Learning approach, which includes mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. In the learning process, the teacher uses several learning models and methods, including Problem Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PjBL), lectures, discussions, and practical activities according to the learning materials and students’ conditions. The learning process is also supported by the use of Smart TV, digital media, and textbooks as learning resources. Several challenges were found during the implementation, particularly differences in students’ abilities and limited practical equipment. These challenges are addressed by adjusting learning activities, providing explanations before practical activities, and conducting evaluations to determine students’ understanding. The analysis of the teaching module shows that the instructional materials contain components related to learning planning, learning models and methods, media, practical activities, and assessment. The findings indicate that the instructional materials have a connection with the physics learning process implemented by the teacher in the classroom.
