Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is a material that must be taught in Islamic educational institutions from elementary to tertiary education, even mandatory for life. This study aims to examine the suitability of the content between the Islamic Religious Education curriculum with a curriculum based on the National Education Standards Board (BSNP), the steps in preparing the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in. and how to overcome obstacles in the application of Islamic Religious Education curriculum in the Islamic elementary. This research uses qualitative methods by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the contents of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum at experienced significant differences between elementary schools in general and elementary schools in particular in the surrounding environment based on BSNP curriculum content. The drafting steps include the formation of a curriculum, verification and verification team. How to overcome the implementation of a curriculum that is not appropriate is held periodic monitoring evaluations and improvements based on contributions from all school stakeholders.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are one of the Islamic educational institutions as a place to study and explore Islamic teachings. The progress of Islamic boarding schools is largely determined by the type of leadership used by a leader. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership concept of Islamic boarding schools in Kampung Qur'an, Cimanggung sub-district, Sumedang district, West Java. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of this research is to explore the leadership style of the Qur'an village Islamic boarding school. The research data was collected through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style in Islamic boarding schools Kampung Qur'an, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency, West Java, the most dominant is the democratic leadership style

Abstract

The teacher is the component that most influence the creation of quality educational processes and outcomes. For this reason, efforts to develop, coach, and train teachers are also needed, but this also requires each teacher's contribution to support this development activity to create better-quality schools as a teacher or teacher educator is one of the determining factors for the success of any educational effort. To improve good teacher performance, factors in it in the form of teacher welfare, work motivation, and job satisfaction. Therefore, the researcher chose the Al-Izzah Leadership School Islamic Boarding School as the research location. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher welfare and work motivation on teacher job satisfaction. This study used quantitative research. In this study, the population was Al-Izzah Islamic Boarding School Teachers, and the sample was 50 teachers at Al-Izzah Islamic Boarding School. Collecting data in this study using questionnaires and data analysis techniques using ordinal logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that teacher welfare and work motivation affect job satisfaction by 62%, which means that other factors influence 38%. Teacher welfare has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, while work motivation has no significant impact.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the not optimal pedagogic competence of teachers in increasing the competency of graduates at SMK Negeri 1 Banjar. The aims of this study were to: 1) Know the pedagogic competence of teachers in improving the competence of graduates at SMK Negeri 1 Banjar. 2) Knowing the obstacles faced by teachers in increasing the competency of graduates at SMK Negeri 1 Banjar. 3) Find out what efforts have been made to improve the competence of graduates at SMK Negeri 1 Banjar. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection tools used in this study include observation (observation), interviews (interviews), and documentation. The results of the study show that 1) Teacher pedagogic competence in improving graduate competence at SMK Negeri 1 Banjar in terms of the ability to understand students, that the teacher's understanding of educational goals in the learning process is good, but the lack is that teachers cannot understand each character of their students one by one. in planning and preparing for teaching, curriculum development is good. And in the evaluation and assessment process, inaccuracies or errors occur in entering data during the assessment process. 2) Obstacles faced by teachers in increasing the competence of graduates at SMK Negeri 1 Banjar are learning models that are less attractive, the SMK curriculum is not aligned, and the lack of motivation of students is caused by internal factors or from within themselves. 3) Efforts made by teachers to increase the competency of their graduates are that teachers must be creative and innovative; teachers must innovate in learning, one of which is by using a learning model that is appropriate and in accordance with the needs of their students. There is Vocational Education in the Independent Curriculum at Vocational Schools. Teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Banjar must provide rewards to students to increase their self-confidence, foster learning motivation, and develop themselves.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the problem of the principal as an administrator in improving the quality of education at SD Negeri 6 Rejasari. The aims of this study were to: 1) find out the leadership of the school principal as an administrator in improving the quality of education at UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City. 2) Knowing the obstacles faced by school principals as administrators in improving the quality of education at UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City. 3) Knowing the efforts made by the principal as an administrator in improving the quality of education at UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection tools used in this study include observation (observation), interviews (interviews), and documentation. The results showed that 1) The leadership of the school principal as an administrator at the UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City, in the process of managing curriculum administration, has controlled the curriculum program at school, has managed and regulated the personnel or personnel administration system properly and on target with the portion of the individual, the Principal carries out the administrative function by forming members of the management of facilities and infrastructure. carry out supervision in administration properly, and have arranged funds according to the budget that has been made, plan to receive funds, determine the time to use funds according to the budget, in making the financial administration, SD Negeri 6 Rejasari uses a manual system, so there are still time constraints that take quite a long time and are prone to errors. Lack of competence possessed by teachers such as discipline in teaching attendance. Furthermore, from the low motivation to learn in students. 3) Efforts made by teachers to improve the quality of education in their schools are by improving the quality of teachers at SD Negeri 6 Rejasari. It is recommended to take part in teacher education/training and attend KKG, with various and varied learning methods, it is hoped that the teaching and learning process can run well. And also the teacher must have strong determination and a great desire to move forward and make changes in a good direction. In order to achieve learning objectives, advance education in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to better understand the personal branding strategies used by librarians at the North Halmahera Archives and Library Office to build a positive perception of their profession and the institutions where they work, as well as to increase library visits and reading literacy through personal branding displayed by librarians. The methodology used in this study is qualitative descriptive with qualitative design applied based on careful consideration and observation of the information in the data set. Purposive sampling was used as a method to gather information in this study, by collecting three informants equivalent to the context. The time frame for data collection of this study runs from April 6 to April 12, 2023. The results proved from the three informants, who implemented the Eight Aspects of Personal Branding Formation from Peter. Montoya is only one informant. Researchers matched the personal brands that informants displayed obtained from interviews and observations.

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources is very much needed in the process of enforcing the education sector in the era of globalization. The teacher is a component of the education system that determines the location of the success of an education. As low as the quality of school resources, the process of teaching and learning activities will continue to be carried out as long as there are educators teaching and students who are learning, then socialization needs to be carried out by the education office to all schools consisting of school principals and educators. Evaluation of educational policies is an activity to find out how educational policies are in accordance with the criteria and have a real impact as expected. The purpose of this study is to understand in evaluating policies in improving the quality of education in Indonesia this type of qualitative descriptive research.

Abstract

This research was a descriptive research by using quantitative approach. The research was aimed at describing the internalization of Pancasila Student Profiles Project in elementary school curriculum development in Papua Region. The result of the research will be a description and become the real field data of the effectiveness rate of Merdeka Curriculum in elementary school in Papua. Several techniques of data collection used in this research were; interview, observation, and documentation. The result of research showed that the internalization of Pancasila Student profiles development project in the elementary school curriculum development in Papua Region has not effectively been successful. The government needs special research on the relevance of students’ characteristics to the curriculum structure and content. The government has to put the traditional and cultural values on priority when developing school operational curriculum.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the not yet optimal teaching performance of teachers who play a very important role in supporting the quality of learning in schools. The aims of this research are: 1) To find out the teacher's teaching performance on the quality of learning in SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. 2) To determine the quality of learning in SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. 3) To determine the magnitude of the influence of teacher teaching performance on the quality of learning in SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires with a total of 56 respondents. Statistical data processing using SPSS 21.0. The results of the study show that 1) the teacher's teaching performance at SMA Negeri 2 Banjar is well achieved. It is evident from the results of processing the questionnaire with a value of 4691 being in good criteria. With the highest score on the teacher's voice indicator when teaching can be heard properly with a score of 257, and the indicator is dressed politely and neatly and deserves to be imitated with a score of 254. And the lowest score on the indicator is evaluating for preparing reports, evaluating using oral or written tests, and assessment of learning outcomes using educational assessment standards with a score of 224. 2) The quality of learning at SMA Negeri 2 Banjar has been well achieved. It is evident from the results of processing the questionnaire that a score of 2348 was obtained. The highest score was on the condition indicator in a clean and bright classroom with a score of 264 and the lowest score on the KBM indicator between teachers and students went smoothly and the learning atmosphere was not boring with time with a score of 224. 3) There is a positive influence of teacher teaching performance on the quality of learning. This is evidenced by the results of linear regression statistical calculations which state that any addition or increase in the teacher's teaching performance variable will have an impact on the quality of learning. The results of testing the hypothesis (t test) show that tcount is 3.682 > ttable 2.048, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a positive influence between the teacher's teaching performance variable (X) on the quality of learning (Y).
